AURA PHOTOGRAPHY
I am a photographer based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. My photography started out in 2004 when I started taking out underwater pics on my PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Course. Two years later I became a PADI Instructor with one of my specialties being Digital Underwater Photography. What catapulted it after that was the birth of my first daughter.
Then I started to think... If I can capture nature's beauty underwater, why not capture it on land as well... Capturing all her precious moments. Then the birth of my second daughter a few years later and my kids have become my muse.
One of my favourite quote is:

Most times people ask me what photographic equipment I use... and my response is always the same... MY EYE...
It is what you, as a photographer, see through the viewfinder that captures those moments in time...
MY STYLE
I have 3 types of styles that I use when capturing those moments. It all depends on the shoot.
I often find myself using all three of them.
Photojournalism Style:
This is a process in which the photographer collects edits and publishes images that tell a story.
It creates a more vivid representation of the story where subjects are seen in a more natural light providing for a much more lively result.
This provides all the great benefits while being less time consuming, and accomplishes capturing without disturbing the flow of the function.
Traditional Photography Style:
Traditional photography remains one of the most popular styles of photography.
Unfortunately the traditional photography approach often becomes a hassle and halts the flow of the function; further the mood of the event is often lost in the pictures that do not really tell the story of the day.
Many traditional photographers counter this problem by mixing in some photojournalistic techniques to achiever a symphony of both styles.
Illustrative Photography Style:
This style of photography allows for a certain measure of photographer control while also enabling the subject to be themselves.
This results in great natural quality images with fine lighting effects and beautiful scenery while at the same time keeping a certain measure of spontaneity and freedom.

Our videography is captured in FULL HD.
Time on Site?
A maximum of 3 hours is allocated for the event.
Any time after that will be billed at R700 per hour.
And what about travel costs?
The first 30km radius from Queensburgh is FREE...
Therafter I charge R3.00 per kilometer …
